Broomball

Broomball is the lastest on ice sensation, playing a game similar to hockey but on the ice in shoes!  At Slough Ice Arena we offer broomball on selected Sunday sessions in a barriered off section of the ice while the general session continues safely to the other side of the barrier.

Broomball is a team sport, played four a side, on the ice wearing your ordinary street shoes so skating ability doesn't prevent anybody from taking place.  The only protective equipment necessary is a helmet which we supply as well as supplying the broomball stick.  The object of the game is to hit the ball around the ice, passing to team members and ultimately putting the ball into the opponents net.
